There is nothing like sipping on a great Sangria on a hot Summer day. This is my go-to Sangria recipe. Everyone who has tried it, loves it and says it is the BEST Sangria they have ever had. I have to agree. The secret? Cinnamon.

Ingredients
  • 1 Bottle Red wine (Semi-sweet or dry 750-1000ml)
  • 1/4 Cup Cointreau
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Sticks cinnamon (Optional)
  • 1 Orange (Sliced and halved)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 1 Bottle Red wine (Semi-sweet or dry 750-1000ml)

Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients together and let chill in the fridge for at least an hour.

This recipe was adapted from La Tienda's Sangria recipe. As is stated in their recipe, lemon lime soda can be used to weaken the alcohol content and add carbonation.
