Gluten-Free Biscuits with Wegmans Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Mix

Ingredients
  • 1cup Wegmans Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Mix
  • 3tbsp butter or shortening
  • 1/4cup milkcashew or almond works
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 400.
  2. In one bowl, mix the butter and flour until combined. You can use a mixer and leave it running until you add the next part.
  3. In another bowl, scramble the egg and milk together.
  4. Mix the egg and milk mixture into the flour mix until combined and smooth.
  5. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  6. Spray a baking pan with nonstick and scoop batter on to the baking sheet. You can make large or small biscuits. The will puff up a little bit, so leave 1 inch in between them.
  7. Bake for 16 minutes.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Recipe Notes
  • Consider adding dried cherries or blueberries to┬áthe recipe before baking.
  • Consider adding a tablespoon of parsley, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and a tablespoon of shredded cheddar to make some savory biscuits.
